This is where low-income and Veterans with
insufficient housing are housed. This is an example of environmental injustice.

In 1999, this county ranked among the
dirtiest/worst 10% of all counties in the U.S. in terms of pm-2.5 emissions. I
didn't realize how poor our air quality is. In fact, I thought it was better
than Manila, where I was born.

How did your zipcode fair on a social
justice / environmental justice basis?
Daly
City is considered a middle-class suburb town and compared to some
neighborhoods in big cities such as San Francisco and San Jose, Daly City is
relatively socially and environmentally clean and safe.
Hi Allyssa,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your post on this topic! I was surprised the report for my county. One of the companies had a pollution output of 180K with the other subsequent companies producing in the lower 5 figure range. I'm hoping the data for this website is still updated frequently.
